Coloring Therapy
I have loved to color in coloring books since I was little! I still have a coloring book that I would make my friends and family color in and then sign and date their pages. As an art teacher, I always recommend coloring to my distraught students as a type of therapy. Recently, I have been having trouble sleeping due to crazy dreams and thought I would try some things to relax my mind before bed, such as coloring. I went on a search for coloring books. An awesome one I found a while back online called Secret Garden I had ordered but it was out of stock. I searched bookstores and finally accidentally came across it at a lovely store called Paper Source. I also picked up two other books while I was searching that seemed interesting and had some fun drawings to color.
Now, I had colored pencils but as I am OCD and needed a fun way to store the pencils I looked online for a pattern to sewing a pencil roll. I had some cute fabric that I picked up and was experimenting with so I thought I would use that. Here are my results:
Here is the site that I got the instructions to make the pencil roll, super easy!
