The Patterns of Disney

This March I went on a trip with my family to Disneyworld for the first time. I put a lot of work into organizing and planning the trip from choosing the parks to visit, where to stay, and places to eat. I had such a fun time and my family had an amazing experience overall.

While exploring the parks I tried my best to collect inspiration and photos of patterns I found around the park. I didn’t do as good of a job as I hoped but here is what I collected.

A Hunt for Inspiration

I do like the idea of going on a pattern scavenger hunt for inspiration. I may try to work that practice in as a monthly excursion. There are so many patterns around us all of the time so it is easy to ignore them. I am hoping that if I can be intentional about it and go somewhere to specifically look for patterns it will be easier to collect them.

Disney Inspo

Every time I go to Disneyland (which is often as I am a pass holder) I am always inspired by the surface pattern design. This pattern recently caught my eye and I had to buy a pair of these sweatpants! Such a nice pattern and it makes me happy every time I see it.
