Wanderlust - Travel Collection
I am so excited it is summer! Summertime to me means more time to focus on my creative business and of course travel plans. I have several trips planned this summer and I am so excited for new places to explore and familiar places to relax and reflect in.
This month I have been working on a bunch of patterns, I was hoping to build a collection around a trip to Santa Ynez area but I have been struggling to develop my ideas and find clear inspiration. Instead, I found inspiration through daily travel themed drawing prompts which ended up to be a nice collection that I really enjoy. Here are the patterns from this collection . . .
I really love this color palette and decided to use the same palette for a Spoonflower challenge called “Take a Hike”. I think it goes with the travel theme as well.
I loved these patterns so much I have been ordering fabric so I can experiment and craft with them. I made two small travel pouches with two of the prints . .
What else should I make with the prints? I was thinking a tote out of the hiking print and maybe a bandana for my dog out of the flowers with sunglasses. If you have ideas and want to play around with the travel print fabric you can purchase them now in my Spoonflower shop here . . .
